My first child - Saskatoon photographers

My first child doesn't make it onto my blog nearly as much as she used to:).  I got home from a shoot the other night and she was sitting by the door waiting for my arrival.  I'm so glad to have her a part of our family, even though she doesn't get nearly as much attention as she used to.  She just adores our children and they adore her.

Splurge - Saskatoon photographers

This month was my turn to host with my splurge club.  I decided that it might be fun to do a mini photo shoot.  I spent about 5 minutes photographing each lady, and the results were fantastic!  I was shocked at how photogenic this group of ladies is.  Some have had experience in front of my camera while others have never been in front of a professional camera before.  Needless to say, they all rocked it!

Handmade in Italy - Saskatoon photographers

Our most popular wedding product is our wedding albums.  Once you've seen them, you will see why!  Each album is handmade in Italy using the highest quality products.  Yup, you read that right!  HANDMADE in ITALY:).  The album pages are held together by a process called heat binding.  This is a special process carried out manually by inserting tissue paper between sheets that are then put in an oven.  By not using vinyl glues, the result is a sturdy page without the unpleasant 'wave' effect.  By using this form of craftsmanship, all of our wedding albums have a guarantee in strength and durability.  With hundreds of cover options, its a no-brainer why these are so popular!

These albums are for our couples who wish to have a beautiful handmade Italian album that will be as beautiful when it gets passed down to their grandchildren, as it was the day they ordered it.

Small town wedding - Saskatoon photographers

My first contact with this sweet bride was through email.  She inquired about her wedding, which sounded like a lot of fun, in her hometown of Tramping Lake.  I was shocked, as this town is so small that there isn't even a store there, and it happens to be the town that my parents grew up in.  Of course I was thrilled to learn that I would have the chance to photograph a wedding in the same church that my parents got married in.  After a few emails back and forth, she had the day all planned out.  We planned to do the photos down by the lake and in town, as there are several old buildings that would make a beautiful backdrop for wedding photos.

When I woke up that morning, the wind was strong.  Like hurricane force winds strong... I was hoping to arrive at my brides parents farm and have a light breeze to work with.  Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.  The wind was actually worse out there!  To my surprise that didn't even phase this laid back bride.  We did, however, have a little change of plans for photo locations.  I took a peek around the farm yard and there was a ton to work with, so we just stayed in the yard for the whole session.  It was actually quite perfect!

We started with the first look, then just ventured around the beautiful yard.  After a couple of hours of 'formals' we headed to the church.  It is the same church this brides parents and grandparents got married in.  It's a beautiful church indeed.  Here is a fairly large sample from their big day!

How cute are all of these flower girls and ring bearers?
