A family day - Saskatoon family photographer

This family had their session a few months ago. We got some posed shots but we've decided to share the 'in the moment' ones with you.  The natural expressions in these are priceless.  It was great getting to know this family and really capturing their personalities:).  This first shot is so cute!  These cousins held hands whenever we walked to another location... adorable!

Boy 'o' boy - Saskatoon newborn photographer

This little guy was just 7 days old when we did his first photo shoot.  He wasn't too interested in getting his photo taken, but instead just wanted to eat.  Typical boy! LOL.  We did manage to get some great images in between feedings.  Here is a small sample...

Happy Thanksgiving!

Over the last year, I have many things that I am thankful for.  Each year, we get a holiday to reflect on all of the things that we have to be thankful for.  Here are mine:

10.  A hot cup of coffee on an early morning.

9.  Having the best clients anyone could ask for.

8.  Having the opportunity to travel somewhere every year, near or far.

7.  Having a few really close friends to confide in.

6.  Being able to do what I love for a living.

5.  Having a roof over my head, clothes on my back, and food in the fridge.

4.  Having a great family (in-laws included!). 

3.  Our dog, Daisy, who is our child.

2.  My wonderful husband who does so much for me, and makes me laugh all the time!

1.  My health.

Oh Baby! - Saskatoon newborn photographer

How cute is this little princess?  Her parents are huge horse lovers.  She already has her own pair of cowboy boots!  I hope to photograph the little one with their horses one day.  In the meantime, we did her newborn session in their home, most of them taken right where she entered the world, which made these images that much more special.  With such sweet parents, this little girl is sure to grow up into a little sweetheart. 

Cudworth wedding - Saskatoon wedding photographers

This wedding started off in Saskatoon and ended in the grooms home town of Cudworth.  The day was perfect!  The bride had two pairs of shoes.  The 'HOT' shoes didn't make it past the ceremony, but the comfy shoes were just as cute. 

The wedding party was a riot!  If there was an award given out for craziest wedding party, this one would take the cake. They even climbed up onto a tractor without even being asked to.  I think I had just as much fun as they did.

It was so refreshing shooting in a different location.  Small towns always have something unique that stands out to me.  We hit up a field with some old cars parked in it and then ventured off to the town museum.  We didn't get to take a look inside (it was closed), but the groom said his grandmothers wedding dress was displayed inside.  How cool is that?

It was really tough to only pick a handful of images to share, so this is narrowing it down a lot.  This is why I love to photograph weddings.  Beautiful couple, great wedding party, amazing locations, so much love, and loads of fun...
