Again, a little behind on the blog posts.... I photographed this sweet couple back when there was still snow on the ground.  I will be photographing their wedding this summer in a tiny town where my parents grew up.  What a small world.  I can't wait!  

 

Father's day - Saskatoon photographers

Happy (belated) Father's day to all the wonderful dad's out there!  Here is a shot of my dad.  Thanks for being the best dad anyone could ask for!  I appreciate everything you do for me:). 

Little stinkers - Saskatoon photographers

These two little stinkers will be in front of my camera more than anyone else, they are my little minis.  At times they drive me completely crazy, but most of the time they bring me a ton of joy.  I just love them to bits.... Little mister is 2 months old already, and little Miss is almost 2 years old:). 

Snowy engagement session - Saskatoon photographers

My babies are sleeping, so I'm able to get a chance to do a blog post.  Of course I wait until the snow is gone to post a beautiful winter session.  I love to photograph in the snow!  The natural reflector it provides is breathtaking:).  This couple were naturals in front of the camera.  Looking back at these images makes me love engagement sessions even more.  I love to photograph couples in love, and when they are this photogenic, it's the icing on the cake! 

My little man - Saskatoon photographers

My little man is 4 weeks old today.... where does time go?  It's true what they say, it goes by so much quicker with the second, even though I have been soaking in every minute with him:). 

While I love the cute little posed newborn shots that I see on so many photographers websites, my style is far more laid back.  We did this shoot in about 20 minutes, mostly in dad's arms, and I love what I got.  He is just so darn cute, I love him to pieces!

Kaden Johnny - Saskatoon photographer

We welcomed a healthy little boy into the world on April 7, weighing 8lbs 6oz and 21in long.  His name: Kaden Johnny.  We couldn't be happier with our little family.  Life is quite chaotic now with a newborn and a busy 20 month old little girl.  As chaotic as life is, I look at how blessed I am to have two healthy children and a husband who couldn't be more supportive. I reflect on how perfect life is, although at times it doesn't seem like it when the newest addition is upset and wants to eat while my oldest is throwing a tantrum because I won't let her watch 10 hours of Elmo in a day, lol.  

While my work schedule will be slowing down over the next little while, I will do my best to continue to blog.  We are also booking family sessions into the summer months, so if you were thinking of doing a family session, please contact us right away to be sure you get in, as bookings will be very limited this summer. Our wedding season for 2013 has a few more openings, and we are now booking into 2014. 

I appreciate all of your patience with allowing me to spend some quality time with my family.  I am soaking in every single minute:).  I hope you are enjoying this crazy snowy spring we've been having!
