This is my first year photographing grads, and boy are they fun! This young lady graduated from the same school that I went to. It's so crazy to think it's been ___ years since I graduated (LOL).... wow, how time flies!

Boomtown Wedding - Saskatoon wedding photography
OK, here it is, our first official wedding of wedding season! It rained all day, literately, from when we woke up in the morning until when we went to bed at night. We started the day with the 'getting ready' photos. We love doing these as this is where we get all the great detail shots, I've included many in this post.
The couple got married in boomtown at the Western Development museum here in Saskatoon. What a cool location for a wedding! Like most weddings, we always wish we had more time for the photography, especially since we had free range of boomtown. However, we still managed to get some really great shots.
Even though the rain didn't stop for a second, it was a beautiful day. We are so fortunate to work with such wonderful people and capture all the memories of their wedding day. We think we have the best job in the entire world!

Convocation - Saskatoon grad photographer
This young lady has finished her university career and is now a vet in Lloydminster. She wanted to get some family photos done while her and her family were in Saskatoon for her convocation. Her boyfriend also happens to be my cousin. It was so nice getting to know her family and spending the afternoon with them.

Going for a dip - Saskatoon boudoir photography
Being an on location photographer here in Saskatoon is great, especially for boudoir photography. I normally go into my clients home and do the session in an intimate setting using their bed and things as props. I find it helps them be nice and relaxed, which is really important for any session. Here is a sneak peek from a boudoir session that might be our best yet! We did half of the session indoors then headed outside to a top secret location just outside of Saskatoon. Here is one of my favourites from that session. More coming soon....

While I do retouching in Photoshop I generally don't go this far.... but I can.... oh the beauty of digital photography (pun intended). I thought this ad was worth sharing.
