This grandma and grandpa were celebrating their wedding anniversary, so they got some family photos taken while the whole family was in town. You might recognize one of the daughters, as she was a bride in one of my weddings last summer. It was a pleasure to work with this fun family once again. I say it all the time, but I really do LOVE my job!

Happy Birthday to Memories by Mandy

A big thanks to everyone who came out to support our 3rd anniversary charity event! It was a huge success!!! I would especially like to thank Amanda who was my fabulous assistant. She did an amazing job getting kids to smile, holding reflectors and chasing after two year old twins who just wanted to run, LOL. She was absolutely amazing! Another big thank you to Elke. She was a huge help with helping out at our table and taking orders and greeting people as they arrived. Amanda and Elke both donated their time so more money could be donated to the Ronald McDonald house in Saskatoon. Thanks again! I couldn't have done it without you. Lastly I would also like to thank everyone who participated in our sessions. I had a blast working with each and every one of you. I hope to work with you again soon. A beautiful spring day in Saskatoon

Being a photographer in Saskatoon is a lot of fun.  I'm always trying to find new locations and cool walls with different textures and colors.  This couple let me choose a couple of the locations and it paid off.  The bright blue wall matched their outfits (and eyes) perfectly!  Looking forward to photographing this cute couple's wedding this summer.

Happy Mother's day!

I missed mother's day, I was out of town.... I know, I know.... anyhow, we are celebrating mother's day today, having the family over for a BBQ.  I thought since we are celebrating mother's day, I would wish everyone out there who is a mother, a very happy mother's day!  I hope your children spoiled you rotten.  I wasn't sure which image to include with this post and thought this one of a 2 week old little boy was very suiting for a mother's day post.  Happy 'belated' Mother's day to all of you strong moms out there!

I love to photograph people, especially women.  To capture their true beauty is an amazing feeling.  This fine young lady looks a little like Kate Hudson.  So beautiful. 

Contest winner.... 16x20 canvas

Every January/February I have a contest on facebook where people can vote for their favourite image from the previous year. This year baby Clara won! I went to drop off her prize (a 16x20 canvas) and took along my point and shoot. Clara was as cute as ever admiring her prize. A big thanks to everyone who voted and making this contest a success!
