Cudworth wedding - Saskatoon wedding photographers

This wedding started off in Saskatoon and ended in the grooms home town of Cudworth.  The day was perfect!  The bride had two pairs of shoes.  The 'HOT' shoes didn't make it past the ceremony, but the comfy shoes were just as cute.

The wedding party was a riot!  If there was an award given out for craziest wedding party, this one would take the cake. They even climbed up onto a tractor without even being asked to.  I think I had just as much fun as they did.

It was so refreshing shooting in a different location.  Small towns always have something unique that stands out to me.  We hit up a field with some old cars parked in it and then ventured off to the town museum.  We didn't get to take a look inside (it was closed), but the groom said his grandmothers wedding dress was displayed inside.  How cool is that?

It was really tough to only pick a handful of images to share, so this is narrowing it down a lot.  This is why I love to photograph weddings.  Beautiful couple, great wedding party, amazing locations, so much love, and loads of fun...

Even if you're having a bad day, this image is sure to make you giggle!

Must be the water - Saskatoon maternity photographers

These two are good friends of ours and have been in front of my lens a few times.  Their engagement photos were some of my first.  Ever!  It's so exciting to see them approach the next chapter in their lives, and of course, I was very excited to capture in on film (not literately, lol).  With so many friends of ours expecting I'm starting to think it must be something in the water!

We started their session in their home, and headed outdoors for a few more.  With a crazy amount of mosquito's, a puppy that doesn't really sit still, a sudden loss of daylight, and some experimenting with my husband holding an off camera flash (Thanks Hunny!!!), here is a small sample of what we got.  It was great to have them in front of my camera again.  Their little one is going to be very loved!

I LOVE this tattoo!  So fitting for this type of shoot.

I do! - Saskatoon wedding photography

This couple contacted us only a couple of months before their wedding.  Their original wedding photographer cancelled on them, and luckily we were available for their wedding day.  We have to say, we're glad that things worked out the way they did.  This couple was great to work with!  They booked us for the whole day, so we've included a very small sample of what their day looked like.

We started out the day at the brides sister's house where the girls got ready.  We love doing the pre-bridal coverage, as this is where I get all the detail shots and all the moments that happen when the bride gets ready.  Once the ladies were ready to go, we headed down to one of the grungiest areas in Saskatoon.  (Thanks for trusting me ladies!!!)  We got some great shots, but had to put up with some minor harassment from people passing by.  The shots we got were totally worth it.

We then went off to meet the guys in the Broadway area.  They were having a blast, smoking cigars, and reminiscing, while we just kept shooting.  We all met back at the faculty club here in Saskatoon on the university grounds.  This is where the ceremony took place.  It was a beautiful late afternoon ceremony.  It started to sprinkle when we arrived, but it didn't stick around (thankfully).  The outdoor ceremony went off without a hitch.

The speech's were hilarious, and the dance was beautiful.  All in all, it was a beautiful day.  Thank you so much for allowing us to be such a big part of your special day!  We feel so lucky to capture one of the most important days of your lives.

The groom bought this bottle of wine when he was over sea's (and single).  He said that he would drink it on his wedding day, so it was a pretty special moment for them....

And of course, the silly faces..... always one of our favourites!
